Mission Statement

The Prayer and Care Village of Heart and Soul Center of Light consists of a dedicated group of ministers, practitioners and laity who have come together in interconnecting circles to care for our members, congregants and families. We provide prayer and loving and compassionate care during times of celebration, transition, challenge and change. As teachers and revealers of spiritual principle, we know the truth of Absolute Wholeness and Perfection within everyone and everything.

Affirmative Prayer

Affirmative Prayer (Spiritual Mind Treatment) uses the Power of Universal Mind to bring changes in your daily life. Ernest Holmes states that “Treatment is not for the purpose of making things happen; it is to provide within ourselves, an avenue through which they may happen.” There is a Power for Good in the Universe which is always operating in, through, as and all around you. Through Spiritual Mind Treatment you can make affirmative use of this healing energy within you now. Prayer changes things, from the inside out, and countless lives have been changed by the healing power of prayer.

Ernest Holmes offers, “So I quietly say to myself: There is one Life, that Life is God, that Life is perfect, that Life is my life now. It is flowing through me, circulating in me. And I say to myself: I am daily guided so that I shall know what to do under every circumstance, in every situation. Divine Intelligence guides me in love, in joy, and in complete self-expression. Desiring that the Law of Good alone shall control me, I bless and prosper everything I am doing; I multiply every activity, I accept and expect happiness and complete success. My whole physical being is animated by the Divine Spirit, and if there is anything in it that does not belong, it is cast out because there is One Perfect Live in me now.”
